I opened 1 brush it looks good. It was mounted on an old delta drill press to run at high speed. Its an open frame design.
It has japan stamped on the base but no other markings motor. You now know all I do about it. Even thought there is a space on the tag no stamped horsepower, or rated draw. The cord needs to be replaced, and if I was buy this would probably change out bearings, although aren't really noisy or feel rough.
The power cord is frayed, and someone extended wires of pot so it could be accessed from front drill press. The body is 9 in length , about 5 DOA key way. The only can find is manufacturer number Z3230the speed variable from to 5000 rpm. The shaft is in length , 5/8 DOA.
