I did an ohms test that shows the motor is not shorted. Please Look at all the pictures they are part of. DC Electric Motor D80C Frame 90 Volt with 40:1 Gear Reducer a 25mm output shaft. B1-F1-R7-S2-2.

Used motor it is from a closed factory that kept replacement motors in stock for their equipment. Used Baldor 3/4 Hp. I don't have a DC power source to test run this.
